This is an ongoing sponsored research project in the department of Mechanical Engineering, Thapar Institute, Patiala, India. The main objective of this research project is to design and develop an autonomous robot for 3D printing applications. The CAD design, analysis and fabrication of the robot was successfully completed in the Phase-1 of the project, a few design iterations were made to successfully achieve the desired results. Currently, the control system of the robot is being designed.
